PALLAVI PATEL KAVETY, DDS
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Pallavi Patel Kavety, a Board-Certified Diplomate of Pediatric Dentistry, opened the doors of Pasadena Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics in 2019 after almost a decade as a leading children’s dentist in the San Gabriel Valley. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California and she completed her pediatric dentistry specialty program at New York University. She became board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014. In 2024, Dr. Pallavi was the only pediatric dentist named as a Top Doctor in Pasadena Magazine’s prestigious annual ranking of top medical professionals.
Dr. Pallavi takes a conservative, child-focused approach to dental care that has earned her hundreds of rave reviews and a rare five-star rating on Yelp. Her goal each and every day is to live up to the office motto: Kids Love Us. Parents Trust Us.
Dr. Pallavi is enthusiastic about pursuing continued learning and is certified for Invisalign. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the San Gabriel Dental Society. She gives back to the community by partnering with the local Pasadena non-profit organization Young & Healthy to provide free dentistry to uninsured children.
When she is not fighting sugar bugs at her office, Dr. Pallavi is at home right here in Pasadena with her fiancé and her two sons. Together, they love exploring Los Angeles, making home-cooked meals, watching movies in front of the fireplace, and traveling whenever possible. At the end of each busy day, she sits on her favorite couch and relaxes with a cup of chai tea.
SAMER RASHAD, DDS
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Samer Rashad, known as “Dr. Samer,” is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California (USC) with degrees in Neuroscience & Entrepreneurship, and then received his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery through USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. He completed his advanced training in pediatric dentistry at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Samer specializes in both behavior management and special needs patient care. He enjoys establishing a solid rapport with each child, tailoring every visit to their ability and needs. He strongly believes in educating both the children and their families on preventative dentistry and oral hygiene in order to achieve the best possible long-term results. His passion for pediatric and community-based dentistry has given him the opportunity to travel to over 10 countries (and counting!) to provide dental care to children in need.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Samer enjoys playing soccer, hiking, camping, traveling the world, and spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends … and his French Bulldog, Drake.
Dr. Samer is an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Dental Association, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
ARIN HAGHVERDIAN, DDM

Dr. Arin Haghverdian, known around the office as the World’s Strongest Tooth Fairy, is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist who completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at NYU. Dr. Arin is a native Angelino who grew up in Burbank, California. He attended the University of Irvine for his undergraduate studies and obtained a Master’s Degree at Pacific Northwest University. He became a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Western University College of Dental Medicine in 2020. Prior to becoming a pediatric dentist, he spent one year in Colorado obtaining his Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Arin’s specialized training equipped him with the skills and expertise necessary to address the unique dental needs of infants, children, and adolescents. He has a friendly approach that helps children feel at ease during dental visits. Whether it's a routine check-up, preventive care, or a dental procedure, Dr. Arin is dedicated to ensuring each child receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs.
Dr. Arin takes immense pride in making a positive difference in the lives of children by promoting healthy smiles and instilling a positive attitude towards dental care. Outside of work, Dr. Arin enjoys spending time with family, his fiancée Corinne, competing in powerlifting and strongman competitions, and watching sports. Additionally, he will be aiding his pet rabbit, a Holland Lop named Toby, to continue to live his best life.

DARA SAADAT, DDS, MS
Orthodontist
Dr. Dara Saadat earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho Biology at UCLA and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2005. He graduated with multiple awards for his clinical and academic excellence. He earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics at Columbia University in New York City.
In the ever-changing world of Orthodontics, he furthers his knowledge and techniques by attending continuing education and being an active member of the American Academy of Orthodontics. He is Invisalign-certified. Dr Saadat takes pride in his work and has been transforming smiles for almost twenty years all over Los Angeles County.
Dr. Saadat loves playing pickleball, listening to music and audiobooks, and watching movies. He also loves Astronomy and Cosmology. As a California native, any activity by the water brightens his day.
