Our founder, Dr. Pallavi, was named “The Face of Pediatric Dentistry” by Pasadena Magazine in 2025. Dr. Pallavi, a Board-Certified Diplomate of Pediatric Dentistry, opened the doors of Pasadena Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics in 2019 after almost a decade as a leading children’s dentist in the San Gabriel Valley. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California (USC), and she completed her pediatric dentistry specialty program at New York University (NYU).
Dr. Pallavi opened her own office with only one goal in mind: to earn the trust of local parents by providing the very best care to each and every child who visits our office.
Dr. Pallavi takes a conservative, child-focused approach to dental care that has earned her hundreds of rave reviews and a rare five-star rating on Yelp. Her clean, fun, modern, child-friendly office on Colorado Boulevard is equipped with the latest technology and offers all pediatric dentistry services, including preventative care, traditional braces and Invisalign, routine cleanings, cavity-arresting medicine and sealants, emergency appointments, sedation dentistry, and white fillings and crowns.

We proudly use the latest dental technologies available in order to provide the very best treatment to your child. For example, we use the iTero digital scanner instead of messy alginate trays to take our impressions for braces and appliances. This increases patient comfort and produces more accurate results leading to improved treatment outcomes. We also use SOAN technology to deliver pain-free anesthesia to children needing dental treatment. No more painful shots and no numbness or swelling after treatment! In addition to using the latest technology, our office adheres to all sterilization protocols, we thoroughly clean our chairs and equipment between each patient, and our office is professionally cleaned at the end of each day.
Should your child develop a cavity or need some form of dental treatment, please know that we have all the very best treatment options available for your child. We only do white fillings and we only use white crowns for the front teeth. Before we recommend filling a cavity or placing a crown, we always explore the possibility of alternatives such as cavity-arresting medicines or remineralizing agents. In those cases where a child is not able to tolerate treatment under local anesthesia, we use the services of a highly-trained pediatric dental anesthesiologist to offer closed-airway sedation, allowing one of our board-certified pediatric dentists to complete all the treatment your child requires in one visit.
Our office accepts most PPO and HMO insurance plans, we accept Denti-Cal, and we offer interest-free payment plans for braces. Please call our office if you don’t see you insurance plan listed below, because we add new insurances all the time!
